Our annual holiday appeal – the Tree of Hope – could be impacted by the mail disruption at Canada Post. For more than 100 years the Tree of Hope has been helping children served by our Children’s Aid Society with toys, clothing and more. This year, the campaign is expected to help 900 kids.
We rely on mail for the campaign. We’re planning to mail more than 1000 donors and supporters in the coming days with key information on how to give, what to buy and key dates and events. A disruption could have a significant impact on our campaign which starts November 14 and runs to December 15.
We’d ask our donors and supporters to watch their mailboxes for our letter. If they don’t see it for whatever reason they should go online to our website to get the information they need about the Tree of Hope campaign.
